QUESTION: My notebook doesn’t turn on and I can wiggle the jack.  Is that fixable and how much?

ANSWER: Zzzzz. What he would have said if he was awake is that a loose notebook jack is usually about $150 repair because you are paying for a day’s worth of work to take apart the laptop, resoder (or replace) the jack, reassemble the jack and test the note book.  The information on the hard drive is probably ok and most likely can be saved if you decide not to fix the notebook.
