TECH TIP: DANGEROUS SITES – TORRENT SITES

 zzzzZZZ. Torrent websites (such as Bit Torrent) are often used for sharing pirated music, videos and software are often a gathering place for malware.  Some feel that torrent sites are even more dangerous than porn sites, because they don’t have a business model or reputation to honor.  They rely on people being cheap and not wanting to pay for anything.  If you use a torrent website, use a secondary computer if possible and make sure updated antivirus software is installed.  ASLEEP AT THE SWITCH: How about all the people in California that allowed Proposition 19 on any ballot.  Legalize pot for recreational purposes?  Our government really wants to grow.  Why don’t we legalize drunk driving while we’re at it? I KNOW I NEED TO LOSE WEIGHT: Today I passed by a small shop and decide to go in to look at jeans for work.  Before I could even step inside, the shop owner told me “Sorry, all the sizes are too small for you”.
