Thomas Hoenig, President of the Kansas Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City Regional Bank has been a strong voice opposed to the Obama Stimulus, saying it will generate inflation particularly in the kind of market we are in today. The Federal debt situation also alarms him as well. He believes it will take at a minimum 10 years or perhaps more to dig our selves out of the huge debt problem we currently have, and he sees that the current administration has no clue as to how to turn things around. Things could get much worse he has said in speeches. The only thing the United States should be doing now is to make policy to regenerate a growing economic condition, which is not happening now with all the stimulus, and lower taxes to spur business and job growth.
