Bob’s Special Tech Tip – Buying a printer? Check the ink cost first

Me and the guys have a special tip for you.  If you are in the market for a new printer, PRICE OUT THE INK FIRST.  All printers today will print well enough.  It’s how CHEAP will they print?  I know one guy that buys a new printer everytime his cartridges run out.  That’s a little extreme, but you get the point.  If you’re going to print out a lot, you may want to consider a laser printer.  A laser uses toner, which is powder, not ink.  A replacement toner cartridge costs more than ink, however you will get many more print copies, so the cost per page is much less. WHY?
