Bobs Special Tech Tip – Jammed Computer button

Me and the guys have a tip for you.  Suppose the button on your computer is jammed or doesn’t push very well.  Unless you can get someone to fix it for you, leave the computer off / on button in the ON POSITION and turn the computer off and on FROM THE SURGE PROTECTOR.  Use the surge protector off and on button to start and turn off your computer.  If you want to get the button fixed, take it to a computer repair shop, but expect to pay between $50 – $100. ALSO – place your TV remote on the table with the BUTTONS UP.  If you leave them with the buttons down, it may wear the batteries down.   By the way, check out a video of some kid trying to fix his computer and be funny at the same time.  Enjoy? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=098se0rpvtw
