Modman – Why governments fail

What is a successful government?  One that grows and raises your taxes every year?  Governments always seem to fail because the people elected ARE NOT BUSINESS PEOPLE and believe that they are ENTITLED to spend your money.  They are either lawyers or come from within a govenment position.  Look at Jack Markell, governor of DE.  He has an extensive business background and realizes that like any business when expenses outpace revenues, cutting adjusments must be made.  When he tried to do the right thing and downsize like any intelligent business would,  he got roadblocked by the entrenced good old boy network.  The only way to change govenment is to vote out any incumbent and elect people with extensive BUSINESS BACKGROUNDS.  That goes across parties.
