Sleeping Tech – Turn computer off or “sleep” mode?

QUESTION:  Should I turn my computer off when finished or leave it on and let it go into “sleep’ mode?

ANSWER:  ZzZ (Sleep mode of course.  Seriously, there are advantages and disadvantages to both.  Turning the computer off and on will put wear and tear on the hard drive; however turning off the computer saves on power consumption. Depends on whether you’re tight with a buck or not)
