Bob’s Special Tech Tip – Baseline your problem

Hi, I’m Tech Bob.  The guys and I have a special tip for you, if you’re having a computer problem.  To determine how serious of a problem you have, START THE COMPUTER IN WINDOWS SAFE MODE.  Press the FUNCTION 8 (F8) KEY when turning on and select either SAFE MODE or SAFE MODE WITH NETWORKING.  If the computer doesn’t work in safe mode, YOUR WINDOWS OPERATING SYSTEM IS CORRUPTED AND YOU WILL PROBABLY NEED A WINDOWS RELOAD.  If the computer works in safe mode, the computer may be fixable without a windows reload.  By the way, check out this video, it’s one of my favorites – people doing dumb things.  :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTYA9DYK6J4   WEDNESDAY: HopSing’s Deal of the Day
