Second Source Computers was established in 1988. The original mission statement was “Buy, sell and trade new and used computers”. We grew back in the 90’s through franchising. Over 35 years, thousands of customers and millions of dollars in sales later, we are now introducing our successful retail store model online.
It’s now 2025 and 37 years later our business model has changed. Our primary focus today include 1) affordably repairing existing equipment 2) upgrading outdated computer hardware and software 3) providing affordably printer ink and toner and 4) educating customers so they can avoid the pitfalls of computer usage; sort of a defensive driving class. We still believe that being the first to purchase and use leading edge technology can quickly turn into “bleeding edge” technology as far as users are concerned. Also almost 90% of computer related problems will not be solved by purchasing new computer hardware.
